I can't rave about this book enough. Reading this book about two years before I started my dissertation helped me completely re-think the writing process, improve my writing habits, and select a topic that would work for me. I highly recommend this book for every graduate student.
Professors as Writers
This book is amazing. Backed by experimentation and research, this comprehensive guide to academic writing is incredibly helpful. Think that you should wait for inspiration to hit to start writing? Think again and read this book.
Ms. Mentor's Impeccable Advice for Women in Academia
