Got into high tech industry (semiconductors) in 1973 and am still in it; have been in capital equipment sales and marketing management for many years. Never left the South Bay Area; living in Saratoga since 2000. Wonderful wife and two great kids (son born in 1995, daughter in 1998). Active in lots of our kids' school and extracurricular activities (Little League [coach & umpire], girl's softball [coach] and basketball, go- kart racing, YMCA father/daughter club, slot car racing ... the list is constantly growing!). Much more fun than work! I stay in contact with Pete Sferra, Frost Saufley, Kurt Huffman, Loretta (Montoya) Thomas, Jim Frost and occasionally see others from the class. Well not exactly true -- never together at Awalt, but we are now! While Doug announced our "informal" engagement at the reunion, it is now official -- A "yes" to the proposal and a ring on the finger if you will. A 2009 wedding is in the works.
