I have written a song that has been accepted and is
the title cut on a major project. I had owned my own
music production company for eighteen years after
which I retired and turned that company over to my
son. Now I am living in New York where my daughter
and I have started a multi-media enterprise. To keep
my fingers in the real estate industry, I am working
for Jones Lang LaSalle. I have 4 children,
6 grand-children and 2 great grand-children. I have
traveled extenstively in the
United States and overseas producing music. I have
finished writing 3 books. Now performing in New York
and receiving my certification for a Life coach.

What's New?
Wow...like wow, man. What the...? What happened to the
last twenty-five years??!!

Well after graduating in the summer(?) of '76 (have no
idea how they allowed that to happen) I continued to
sow those wild oats. Went to Alaska for a few years,
then decided to jump out of airplanes and blow up
things (US Paratroopers) Did the Central America thing
(Sandinistas, Reagan and the Contras) and the Gulf War
(Bronze Star and lots of photos).

Since then I worked for a few more years in Alaska
(couldn't get enough of those damn fish) graduated from
San Diego State (Master of Fine Arts, Creative Writing)
taught English at some of the local Universities...then
moved to Germany last year.

I've just bought a house with my German wife in a small
village in northern Bavaria. We have two kids (Larissa
2.5, Liam two months). I still have my hair (on my
head) and look about the same, I guess.

dream home in Grass Valley, in the Sierra foothills.

Got married in 1978, moved to the Sierra Foothills in
1981. Had two children, a boy Brendan and a girl
Caitlin. Became a Deputy Sheriff for the Placer County
Sheriff's Department in 1988, worked Jail, Patrol,
Investigations, promoted to Sergeant in 1996 and to
Lieutenant in 2001. Divorced in 2004. Retired in 2008
and moved to Nashville Tennesse. Now I'm a writer
working on a memoir.
Brendan, 27, is in the Marine Corps Reserves and is
currently on a workup to be deployed to Afghanistan in
September 2010. Caitlin, 25, is also living in
Nashville, is working on starting a business as a
Portrait Photographer.

I am currently divorced. I have 3 kids: Tayler (girl)
is age 19, and the boys are Cassidy and Spencer, ages
16 and 13 (AS OF 8/06).

I lived in Portland, Oregon for about 5 years and
Clearwater, Florida (just outside Tampa) for 2 years.

I've traveled all over the world, including to Asia,
Philippines and Africa. I had a cell phone company
that I owned in Kinshasa (Dem Rep of Congo).

In a nutshell...I got married soon after graduating.
Having both parents pass away 4 months apart I'm sure
had something to do with that. Moved to Sonora,CA in
1981. Had my daughter Jenny in 1984. Got divorced in
1988. Remarried (I'm a little slow), kicked him to the
curb 1992. Are we having fun yet ? So, you know what
they say about third time being the charm. Thank god
it was true. Happily married to David for 16 years.
Lucky enough to have a second child without labor
(step daughter) Krysti. And along came Devon in 1995.
They are now 25, 19 and 14. We moved to Lexington,
Kentucky in 2003 for no apparent reason. Ended up with
thyroid cancer in 2005. Successful surgery and
treatment with Drs. David Slone and Kenneth Ain, both
University of Kentucky. Let's just say I love UK and
my HMO. Aha...apparent reason. October 19, 2006
everything stopped. I received news that my brother
Jerry had died from carbon monoxide poisoning. Life is
just not fair. Also bought a home in 2005 and had just
finished the bathroom from hell when hubby decides
it's time to move closer to family. Timing was a
little off. So...goodbye UK and, oh god, my HMO. We
arrived in Gardnerville,NV. 10 days ago. Hubby is
working for Douglas County Schools up at Zephyr Cove.
Outwardly, I am blissfully unemployed. Inwardly, not
so much. Lots of clinics, docs and dentists so I
shouldn't be idle for long. We have a beautiful house
and the schools are great and no cancer. So...glass is
half full...life is good. Am looking forward to future
reunions now that we live closer.

A new year and a new zip code. Two months after moving
to Nevada the school district decided in its infinite
wisdom to cut my husbands position. So we decided to
come full circle and come home to Sonora this past
October. Currently working for the Dept. of Social
Services but 02/01 will be back at my old job at the
Health Dept. Teenagers and birth control..gotta love
it !

Life is good....and will be even better when the
washer and dryer are out of storage !

So change is a constant in my life. Anyone else any
different? ha ha I am now living on the East Coast
(Virginia) and find myself semi-retired, but not by
choice. I have a wonderful girlfriend here and
am considering my options for the second half of my
life. Let's see where the wind takes me this time!

I currently live in Croton-on-Hudson, NY which is next
county north of the Big Apple.

I have been married since 1997 to a wondeful woman
named Kim and have three children, David 28 and Chris
27 from my first marriage and Lauren 9, yes Lauren was
planned, from my third and present marriage. My have
a grandson from David and his wife.

After beng layed off from the Santa Clara Co.
Sheriff's Office after 2 1/2 years as a Deputy, I went
to work at Lockheed in Sunnyvale. I soon got hired at
IBM doing Facility Protection. After 2 years I
transfered positions into the Office Products Division
and was transfered to IBM NY in 1987. I worked Office
Product doing repair work. After two years, I was
promoted up to PC Tech and became a Support
Tech/Product Support Specialist after 6 months. In
2008, I was promoted to a Technical Advisor (Customer
Support Manager) on a new Company bought in 2008.

I still do Emergency Services as a Volunteer. I
became a Fire Chief and served a two year term 2006-
2007. In the volunteer service you can only serve two
years as Chief. I am presently the Director of EMS in
my Village, as a volunteer.

become a Psychologist but didn't want to spend next
6-8 years in school getting MA and PhD. Decided the
computer industry looked like it had potential.

1982 - Married Lorinda (24 years in 2006)

Sales/Marketing jobs at Apple, Dell, various software
& hardware startup companies. Learned how to grow
businesses through effective marketing. Formed my own
(small) company to coach/mentor business owners on

I took the long road for my college degree (Foothill,
UC Davis and Sacramento State).After graduating, I
worked as an EMT and played 4 years for a semi-pro
football team. I got into the Sacramento Sheriffs
Dept in 1984. I was married for the first time to a
wonderful woman named Sharon in 2001. She brings two
great kids into our relationship, a boy Kellen 15yo

Heading to Costa Rica in Oct. for my 52nd B-day. I
took up bike riding about 12 years ago, and I'm going
to Iowa the end of July, I know, I have family there,
for a week long bike ride across the state. Still

Just heard about this site! It's great to read
everyone's posts.

I attended Foothill College after graduation, then
transferred to SJSU
for a BA in Psychology. I went on to earn graduate
degree in
Rehabilitation Counseling (MS) at SFSU. Married Bob in
1984; we have
two sons: Brendan (18) and Denny (16) and crazy cat
named Sasha. We
lived in Mountain View for 14 years and Cupertino since
then. Over the
years I've worked at the YMCA, State Dept. of
Rehabilitation, Foothill-
De Anza College District and now Stanford University
(about six years
here). I work with college students who have
disabilities. Bob was
recently hired as the financial analyst for Silicon
Valley Sports and
Entertainment (just in time to get hockey playoff
tickets). Go Sharks!

I'm involved with an environmental leadership program
through
Acterra, a Palo Alto non-profit (www.acterra.org). I'm
also involved with
the simplicity movement (www.simpleliving.net) and
recently took up
organic gardening. Love to travel, although I haven't
done so much
over the past decade. I'm flying to Italy next month
to visit Brendan in
his overseas study program, though. My younger kid's
going to
Hungary this summer to play water polo - wish I had the
funds to go
there as well!

Suzanne (Strobe) Gabbard (original class 1977 and I
are still close friends. She lives north of Seattle.

Hi everyone. Can you believe we're turning 50 this year? Where did all
the years go? I hope you're all doing well.

Life is grand. I've been a lucky guy. I graduated from UC Berkeley in
Political Economics, and then 5 years later got an MBA from San Jose
State. I've worked at the Boy Scouts, a community college as the
executive director of their foundation, a national education non-profit
based in Sacramento running large educational technology
conferences, and now do education marketing at Apple. Its been a
blast working at Apple these past 6 + years. I manage national
strategic initiatives for higher education.

My wonderful wife Lisa and I were married 14 years ago, and have 2
amazing kids- Talia age 11 and Noah age 9. Kids are good students,
active in competitive soccer, take music and hebrew lessons, and make
us proud often. Every so often I pull out my trumpet, my daughter
plays her flute, my son plays the piano, and together we have a pretty
decent family band. We live in San Jose near Los Gatos.

Finally cut my hair and did 5 years active in the US
Navy. I'm married and have two boys and am presently
living in Temecula, CA, (SoCal wine district). I
still go fishing annualy with Ted Floyd and Jeff
Shortt, (Wendy Ikuta's husband). I'm a small business
owner, (Photogrammetrist), and still enjoy scuba
diving, romantic dinners and long walks on the
beach... (just kidding!!!) I'm also still serving in
the US Navy Seabees - Reserves and will finally
retire in the next few years. Life's been good....

Been living here in the Northwest since 1988, and
loving it! (Haven't grown web-feet yet)! I've been
blessed with a wonderful husband, Greg, since 1979,
and have two boys, Brad and Tom, who are just about
ready to fly the coop. I'm living out my life dream of
living on a farm with horses! We have a 5 acre spread
where I board and train horses and give riding lessons
(Dressage, for those of you who might know what that
is). I'm very active in my church choir and worship
team, so music is still a very important part of my

What's new? Where do I begin? In May 2002 I was
diagnosed with a very rare brain disorder
called "Moya Moya". Go to MoyaMoya.com it can explain
it better than I can. Well anyway after my final
surgery in July 2002 I got married on Sept. 8, 2002.
She (Mary) also works at Stanford Hospital. Mary
works in the MRI dept. at Stanford and helped me
schedule my MRI. She basically saved my life. It's a
long story.

I've been off and on medical disablilty for the last
couple years due to severe headaches. But overall I'm
doing fine.

I purchased a condo last year near the San Jose
Municipal golf course. Mary's daughter is living with
us and keeping us busy. She's 17 and anyone out there
with teenage girls knows what I'm talking about.

I am divorced/single and live in Sunnyvale, Ca. for
the last 6 years after living in San Antonio, Tx. for
23 years. GREAT to be back in Cali!!! I have 3
children all grown and on their own/financially
independent andthey all are still in Tx. I work at
Stanford/Lucille Packard Childrens Hospital as a
Resiratory Care Practitioner in the Pediatric/Cardiac
ICU as the Clinical Coordinator for Resp. Care. Kids
are so Cool to work with!!!! Was initially Pre-Med
but had kids and family, chose to have a life instead
and became Resp. Therapist. Tried Medical Sales for
7 years till I got burned out and went back to Resp.
where I have been ever since. Got my MBA in 2000 and
moved back to Cali with idea of getting into Biomed
Industry but love it at Stanford/Packard with the
kids. Much more rewarding!

After Awalt , the usual. Graduated from SDSU. Been
married almost 2o years now to a girl from Denmark.
She works at El Camino Hospital as an RN. Two boys
ages 6 and 9. I have been a Sales Manager for the
last 15 years for a company in Orange County.
Territory covers the Western States so besides trips
to Denmark once in a while travels are limited to
Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Portland, Washington and
Hawaii.
I keep in touch with Joe Duller, Kevin Morrill(77),
Rob Roselli(77) and Tom Wyatt(75).
My sister Lynn (72) lives in Bend Oregon with 3
children and is doing well.

What's New?
I live in Berkeley hills with my husband Vlado who is a
scientist in Building Technologies at the Lawrence
Berkeley National Lab of the University of California.
I've been married to Vlado since 1985.
I spend my time cooking healthy natural food, drinking
the occassional glass of very fine wine, doing art
projects, playing the piano, working around my house,
skiing a lot at Squaw Valley and in Europe,
volunteering at the San Francisco Ballet, going to the
opera, traveling with my husband around the world, and
entertaining visiting scientists for dinners at our
home.
I am child free but have a very spoiled cat named
Princess.
I took care of my mother-in-law for 13 years. Now I
visit her daily at the skilled nursing home close by.
Before that I worked in purchasing for Kaiser
Permanente and, before that, at Sun Microsystems.

What's New?
Just found out about this page! After high school,
spent 15 years in the grocery business, bought a
house, got stuck in the grocery business ($$)but
finally escaped by going back to school in '90 to
become a dental hygienist. Moved to WA state in '94
(love it) then back to school (again) to become a
dentist. I graduated from University of the Pacific
in SF in '02. Bought my own practice in Marysville,
WA in Jan. of '03. Never married, no kids, just 3
adorable beagles (all rescue dogs).

In my spare time I quilt, weave, spin, do bobbin lace,
read, and hike with my church group.

What's New?
It's been a long haul but I am somewhat settled living
in the heartland. I am happily married with two
daughters, ages 9 and 7 along with our Golden retriever
and Trevor the cat.
I live in a great community where I teach American
History at the University of Kansas, Baker University
and Washburn University. I also fooled around with
politics and was elected to the School Board for a four
year term. We all
are inflicted by the travel bug and also camp whenever
we can. Life is good and I wouldn't trade what I have
for anything.

What's New?
Living in Vancouver, WA for the past three years and
not planning on moving. Married to Kelly since 1986,
and have two boys Brad 16, and Bryan 13, also raised
my nephew Chris, 24. My focus has been in the wine
and spirits industry, as a Director of Sales.

Very involved in the community and Boy Scouts as a
leader. Still conducting Ripp's Annual Haunted House.
The haunt has been very active for 20 years.

Sorry to miss the reunion. It is always great to see
everyone!

Never had kids, never got married, what more could you
ask for? Have a dog named Dahrma with Addison's yet he

I've made my home in the "Happy Valley" of Western
Massachusetts since 1986. Love the seasons, the
scenery, the open space, the politics and the people.

Been with my partner Linda for almost 15 years. We

What's New?
Wow, very cool site! As others stated, it was very nice to read what is
happening with fellow classmates. It was nice to recognize so many
names even though high school seems so very long ago.

I met my husband Dan at a wild party in Palo Alto soon after
graduation and we have been married since 1977! He is an
accountant/finance guy and I have been in Banking for over 30 years.

We were blessed with two wonderful boys but unfortunately lost our
oldest son Matt in a car accident when he was just 18. Our life really
changed after losing our son but we have made it through and are so
thankful for our son Geoff and all our supportive family.

There were many Solari kids at Awalt and all are doing well too. My
brother Danny ( still call him Danny probably should call him
Dan..class of '77) is married to Linda Chambers-Solari who was also a
member of the class of '76.

I love art, gardening, photography and look forward to retiring soon so
I can play all day!

Retired from the Air Force as of 1 Jun 2001. Now working
as a senior project engineer for The Aerospace
Corporation, Chantilly VA.

Married since 1986 to wife Libby. Two kids, Anne
(11) and Chase (10). Spent my AF career in
California and the DC area (Maryland and Virginia)
except for a two year assignment to Alice Springs,
Australia (pretty much at the geographic center, in
the middle of the Outback).

One close call with the famous -- interviewed
personally with VP Gore in the White House for a
military aide job. Came in as the first runner up,
which of course doesn't count for anything. Had I
gotten the job, though, would have been there the
same time as Monica...

After Awalt, spent 4 years at UCSB for a BS in Physics,
then a to UCSD for a MS in applied physics. Lived in
San Diego County until '94, moved to Albuquerque (ABQ)
for a couple of years, crewed for lots of hot air
balloons, then off to Austin for the job doing R&D in
semiconductor process development. Now that the jobs
have gone over seas, I'm teaching scuba, CPR, and
tutoring math and science. Got married to a trombone
player who still plays and arranges music. I brew beer
and like to sample private and commercial brews of
others. Like to travel, and do some dive traveling.
