After 15+ years in pharmaceutical research, I recently left Pfizer to start a second career as HS math and science teacher. 'best decision I every made. Claudette and I will celebrate our 23rd anniversary this year. Spencer is now 15 and Audrey is 12, and we still live with an assortment of labrador retrievers, cats and a pony. When I manage to find free time, priorities are still playing tennis and homebrewing. Feb 2010 Update: Last June I learned that I had stage 4 throat cancer. After lots of chemo, radiation and 7 months from hell, I had a clean PET scan in December! I am so thankful for my amazing doctors, friends and family! I returned to work January 19 and am still grinning to have a life again. I am under close watch for a couple of years, but am enjoying every day. Spencer will be a freshman at the U of Michigan College of Engineering in the fall. Audrey is now a sophomore in high school. We weren't really able to celebrate, but our 25th wedding anniversary was in September. Been living and working in Asia for 7 years now; the first 3 based in Taiwan handling Human Reources for 7 countries in Asia Pacific for a US semiconductor company, then moved to Thailand for the last 4 years. Set up my own Thai company that provides consulting services to US companies with operations in Asia. Work expanded to Europe and N. America (Canada) recently. On the road about 80% of the time. Successfully avoiding coup d'etats, airport closures and general mayhem that's been occurring lately in Thailand; I'm hardly ever there. Not married, 2 kids, son Antony age 25 working as a Financial Analyst in SF, CA and a daughter Allegra age 22 who just graduated from UC San Diego and was accepted into Teach for America and will be teaching in a charter school in S. Central LA soon. I've been married 24 years to a wonderful man. I am a teacher and still do teach swimming!!! My kids both teach swimming in the summer with me!!! We love it! We have 2 children, one daughter named Casey, who attends Cal Poly, SLO. We have a son, Chase, who is a senior in high school. Both of our kids bring us joy everyday. I raise Scottish Fold cats and you can see them on my site at www.catsofoz.com We horseback ride, hike, mountain bike, and I, (of course...)teach swimming too!!! Enjoying life in the foothills...cross country ski in the winter!!! I am also involved with Placer and Nevada County Search and Rescue teams. Own "The Graphics Resource" a print brokerage company located in San Francisco. Just celebrated our 10 year anniversary. Oldest daughter Kimi is a junior at UCSB, played water polo and is enjoying life in Isla Vista. Kimi graduated from Sacred Heart Prep. Youngest daughter Hannah is a freshman basketball player at the University of Utah. She attended Prep, then transfered and graduated from Mitty. I'm still married, 21 years and counting. Live in San Mateo and spend as much time as possible in our home in Tahoe. Hope all is well with the rest of our class.
