Updated 9-May-2004. I have been living in the serenity of the beautiful Sierras, in Nevada City, California, for over 10 years. My home is a haven, surrounded by natural beauty, 200 ft' tall trees, wildlife of every kind, bears, mountain lions to the gentleness of newly born fawns, that in turn delight us by raising their own the following seasons. Gentle breezes, invigorating, unpredictable winds suddenly appear, stars that sparkle like jewels in the mind of a beggar. I encourage and welcome anyone of you to contact me. I wish everyone the best of what life has to offer, and a heart filled with the love of family and friends. When the mind is pure, Joy follows, Like a shadow, that never leaves....
Updated 24-Sep-1999. Hello lovelies, I cannot tell you how much fun it was to receive your postcard invitation when I RETURNED FROM SUMMER IN CALIFORNIA...where I work at the Valley Visitor Center in Yosemite National Park during the day, camp for 8 weeks in a tent, and in the evening tell funky stories for the Sierra Club in the LeConte Memorial in the Valley. I am so so sorry I didn't know. It would have been such fun catching up with you all in person. Now we have to do it my email. And I will personally whip all who do not respond to me email with a giant wet noodle. No, I have not yet grown up....daughter of 25 years of age not withstanding. Catch me up. Yours, Virginia Boardman Ferguson...aka Verbinya T. Ferguwoman...among my current students and Yosemite visitors.
