Quasi, semi-retired and finding myself in Little Rock,
Arkansas of all places!
Have woven an incredibly rich and varied tapestry as
business owner, wife x2 widowed in 1996, no kids by
choice (though I do love being a stand-in mom/grandma
to ready-mades), world traveler, sailor, golfer,
gourmet cook, visioneer, hospice volunteer and now
caregiver to a special needs brother and a Mom with
Alzheimer's. Have had three of my most-beloveds die in
my arms—no doubt the "stuff" of life and death has been
the most challenging of any experience along the way.
I am a true West Coast snob also working very hard to
find my sense of place in a bible belt culture and
mentality. Trials of Jane learning to become a southern
belle have gotten a few good yucks along the way too.
You know you're a redneck WHEN?! Oh my.
As such the wild assortment of these and other zany
back-stories from this lifetime might just lead to the
next great adventure of writing books. I am inventing
the rest of my life with a blinking cursor prompting my
next path so...stay tuned. I just may see you in
2008—especially if it's time to burn rubber outta this
town by then! I left my heart in San Francisco
don't-cha-know.
Drop a line (if Spirit moves you). :-)) I send the very
best to you and yours.
