Awalt Alumni Directory:
The Alumni Directory provides an email gateway. Your actual email address is not published on the website, but instead a form is provided so former classmates can contact you. Most members of the Alumni Directory have reported that they appreciate this email gateway as it lets them get in touch with former classmates.
Unfortunately, we also receive occasional reports of people using the email feature for scams/fraud or to send inappropriate messages.
We employ spam-filtering and rate-limiting software to attempt to prevent some common scams from passing through, but occasionally a message makes it past our filters.
Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing the identity of who actually sends these messages. The only information this website retains is the IP address of the computer that sent the mesage. This address helps to identify the sender of the email and track the individual to his or her service provider.

and we will block that IP address from contacting you again.
