Youngest daughter Hannah is a freshman basketball player at the University of Utah. She attended Prep, then transfered and graduated from Mitty. I'm still married, 21 years and counting. I have covered nascar, NHL, MLB, shot a lot of portraits, weddings, and just about anything someone will pay for. I have been to many places, seen many things and I have met some amazing people along the way. I have been a pilot since 1991 and love it. Hoping the real estate market stays strong in CA and enjoy being a land baron. I ski, look for something good in everyone, play golf and travel. I have been working at the Children's Hospital in Denver as well, and it is such a rewarding experience. The miracles that come out of that place are incredible! I had a great time at the 30th reunion. Everyone looked great, and it was fun to catch up with so many people from so long ago! Went into the Army with Darrell Martin in Oct. of '72. Spent 1 1/2 yrs in Washington near Tacoma, then had a great 2 1/2 years in Stuttgart, Germany playing with tanks. Decided that I'd had enough fun and went back to Foothill to start a degree in Psych. There I met Cheryl Sampson (Cubberly '75). We've been married 30yrs, same house (with modifications) for 28yrs, have 3 kids, 3 fish and 2 cats. I've been working in the automotive field for the last 25 years (Psych comes in handy still!). Involved in church and clubs and anything to do with cars, motorcycles and sailing! Wow it's been a long time since we walked the halls of old Awalt high school. It was great to read what has been going on with everyone since 1980. Anyway here is a brief update on what has transpired in my life since then. Went to Foothill for two years and then transfered to Sonoma State University and graduated in '84. I then moved to Southern California and tried a couple of different occupations befoe deciding to go back to school and get a teaching credential. In '86 I started teaching P.E. at a public high school and have been there ever since. It is a pretty good gig, I get to go to work in shorts and a t-shirt. I have been happily married since '85 and we have 2 children, Danny is 20 and is a U.S. Marine having served in Iraq and will deploy to Afghanistan in January of 09'. Katie is 15 now a freshmen and a member of the high school marching band and orchestra. I am still an avid SF Giants fan (which is not easy living in So Cal) and catch almost everygame on satellite.
