Updated 22-Apr-2012. Hello everyone ! Ghost from the past here.Well I was something of a ghost even back on campus.Sorry I missed graduation(life got in the way). However, I want to thank Shawn West for being such an inspiration. The week after the drama club got back from the Ashland Oregon Shakespeare fest I discovered that I didn't have the fortitude for "accelerated" French but did have a new passion for acting and theatre. Life has been full of drama ever since. In '82 I joined up with a christian outreach choir,The Starfire Singers from the methodist church in Los Altos.Lots of singing and acting and tours for four years.Cameraderie to last a lifetime(oh no he spoke French!).Starting in '83 I began to do plays and musicals around the South Bay and then went pro in 1990.I moved to Los Angeles in '92 to study method acting and help form a "meth. rep. co."(no drugs needed). Instead of a repertory company I did a lot of acting in film and on t.v.. I was able to work on three episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and 40 on Star Trek:Deep Space Nine ; part of which allowed me to join the Screen Actor's Guild ( some t.v. is shot on film ). Moving to San Francisco in 1996 I went on a "life experience" 8 week theatre tour around the Mid-west. I returned to Los Angeles for a year and after a failed attempt ( now inspiration for a book) at a European theatre tour, I recovered back in Northern California for 3 years and relocated to Monterey in 2001. The Summer of 2005 saw me doing two plays at the Shakespeare "Festival" in Carmel and that Fall I made my first apperance at a Science Fiction Convention that has resulted in being cast in a great role for an exciting film. After 7 years I am acting again as well as writing and life is starting to look up again. Geoffrey p.s. Lori, sorry I fell off the face of the Earth. Thank You for the life preserver (FBCLA).

Updated 12-Apr-2012. Can't believe it's been 7 years since I looked at this website, guess it's time for an update. Surviving Katrina was a monumental experience not only in our loss of our beach home on the gulf coast but more importantly the loss of our hopes and dreams which no amount of money can recover. After being exiled for 2 ½ months after Katrina our return to our home in uptown New Orleans was bitter sweet, it lasted less than 5 months when I realized that for our needs New Orleans was not at that time capable of supplying the medical facilities we needed for my mother or my self as a Cancer survivor since 2004. Flash forward to 2012 ….. I moved my self and my mother to Natchez Ms which was only a 3 hr. drive from New Orleans, my husband has commuted up here every weekend for the last 6 years and that alone is amazing! I purchased a B&B in the historical district and cried every day for 3 years missing New Orleans. As my mothers sole caretaker it has been quite a roller coaster ride, she has been bedridden since Oct 2010 and as I am sure many of you now or will be in the near future dealing with the financial, medical and governmental red tape of being a caregiver it has been both enlightening and stressful. My mother is 99 now and is ready to pass on and my job is to make her as comfortable as possible in the interim. When this chapter of my life is completed I will move back to New Orleans, travel, and be able to spend time with the 3 grandkids in New Orleans where my daughter and her husband reside and my son and his wife who live in San Francisco. Over the years I have been fortunate with friends trekking cross country to see me from Chico, Southern California and points north south east and west. Dewey Williams (who I have known since 2nd grade) has made quite a few visits to both NO and Natchez to visit (actually he is due to arrive next week for another visit) and it is always wonderful to catch up on his adventures and travels. So for now that’s about it for the update it never fails to amaze me how fast the years have flown by since high school and after reading the bio’s of the 67’ alumni’s where all of our paths have led us.

Updated 31-Mar-2012. I think it's about time to update my bio. My daughter Amy is 36 and she's living in Olympia with her partner PJ and my two beautiful grandchildren, Riley 13 years and Mackenzie 11 years. My son Jeff is 25, he got his degree in Psychology and is working for Morningside as an aide for the mentally disabled. He helps them by job shadowing, but assists only when necessary. He also is a pitching coach for young men 16-18 years of age and an assistant coach for a high school varsity team. My son Cody is 23, he graduated from St. Martins University with a degree in business. He was able to get a job with a company called NECA. National Electrical Contractors Association. He is an executive assistant. He is also a head baseball coach for a local high school. Our days traveling around the country watching our boys play baseball are over. Now we watch our grandson's baseball games and our granddaughter's soccer games. I am so proud of all my children and grandchildren. I retired in May 2003 from United Airlines, after almost 34 years. I was ready and very happy about it. My husband Denny and I will be celebrating our 32 year anniversary in Nov. 2012. He has a web site <www.ontherunevents.com> for runners. You should check it out! I completed my college studies and got an Associate of Arts degree (Liberal Arts) at South Puget Sound Community College in Dec 2007. I went back to college again studying American Sign language for a year 2010-2011 at Evergreen State College. Now I'm a much better signer for the young man I work with. I am a one-on-one para-educator in the developmentally delayed classroom at a middle school for the North Thurston School District. I love working with the kids. I have been working for the district 8 years. I plan on attending the next reunion. I hope to see you all there. I hope everyone is Healthy and Happy, God Bless You All, Love Carol

Updated 27-Mar-2012. After graduation, I attended DeVRY college in Phoenix, AZ. I married shortly afterward, and was blessed with a son. This marriage ended in divorce. I went to work for Signetics Corporation in Sunnyvale, CA in Facilities. I worked there 11 years, with a stint in the Air Force sandwiched between that employment at Signetics. While I was at Signetics I remarried, and will be married to my wife Georgia for 34 years in June. She also had a son. We have a blended family -- both sons are launched into adulthood with families of their own. I longed for my own business and obtained an Electrical Contracting License. I left Signetics to open my own Electrical Contracting Company in San Jose, CA. After 11 years, I turned it over to my brother-in-law. I was always fascinated by aviation, and learned to fly, getting my private airplane license in 1974. In 1989 I got my private helicopter license, and in 1990 got my commerical helicopter license, enabling me to be a Certififed Flight Instructor. So, I opened an Aviation Company at the Hollister, CA Airport, which offered helicopter and airplane flight instuction. I loved this business, but it wasn't as lucrative as I'd hoped. I closed the aviation company in 1992,and accepted the position of Facilitites Manager for the Anritsu Company in Morgan Hill, CA In 2003 I left Anritsu Company. I guess you'd say every 11 years I shed my skin and try a new venture. Here I am, eleven years later, pursuing a new career in real estate. My wife Georgia and I sold our condo in Carmel, CA and have relocated, purchasing a home in Henderson, NV. I am a Real Estate Agent selling properties for Vertical Realty a division of Realty One Group in Las Vegas, NV. You may contact me at 702-528-8050

Updated 13-Feb-2012. Hi, All. Still here in Wildwood, now in our 23rd year. This promises to be a year of changes, though. I recently submitted my letter of resignation due to retirement, and will be officially retired on May 25th, after winding down my second career (teaching high school physics for the past 19 years--thank you, Mr. Walker!). Judie retired a year and a half ago, so in May we will be footloose and fancy free. The plan is to sell our house here, move to Colorado (currently looking in the Castle Rock area south of Denver), kick our feet up, spend more time with the kids/grandkids (there are now seven), and do some traveling. Mom will be having her 90th birthday on May 27th, so we plan on flying out to Paradise to help her celebrate, along with all the brothers, their spouses and a lot of the nieces/nephews. We also plan on making the Awalt Reunion and hope to see all of you there. That may be tricky, though, since I also have a 40th reuinion at Kings Point on the East Coast the weekend before. We shall see what happens. Wishing you all all the best.
