What's New?: The 50th reunion was great. It was wonderful to see
all who came.
I went to Linfield College in Oregon, and U of
Washington in Seattle. Taught school(mostly high
school)in Oregon, Washington, and California for about
23 years. During summers and Christmas vacations I
worked in retail.. I have some great memories of my
teaching years..
At that time, realizing I was burning out in teaching,
I decided to try other avenues. So I went to work for
the Superior Court in King County, Seattle. While
there, I held various postitions, and finally retired
from Juvenile, in 1998, after 17 plus years..
Jules and I have been married since 1958; have 2 sons,
and 2 grandsons. We enjoy our time with the
grandchildren, as often as possible.
Now that we are both retired we enjoy traveling and
hobbies... Jules has taken on the hobby of repairing
old clocks... something that he went into after
retiring from Boeing as a CPA. And he still goes into
the college 2 days a week to keep active with the
class, as an administrative asst. etc...

What's New?: I think our reunion this year was great. I love to
see and get reaquainted with all my classmates. Most
of you looked a lot older than when I saw you last,
for some reason or another; Gil Duncan looked about
the same. You guys gotta stay in shape to be around
for the next 50 years, or so. So, please don't get
any older looking: think thin!

I still play tennis once or twice a week (it hasn't
helped my girth all that much), and keep busy with Boy
Scout district training for scoutmasters (Basic and
Woodbadge). I also spend a fair amount of time on
church activities and assignments.

I still love to camp out, although now its mostly in
our motor home, whenever my wife feels like we can
safely leave the castle. What with all the yard work
and changing the water in the moat, etc., we are
usually limited to about 3 times a year. This year we
drove to Iowa and Illinois for a week or so, and later
we will go to Moab (I'm sure you have all heard of
that lovely garden spot of the universe). We do the
canyon lands of Utah.

I do some occasional consulting work for the Navy back
in Indianhead,MD to help keep our firey-tailed dragons
flying. I just completed a comprhensive handbook on
methods for microstructural characterization of solid
rocket propellants. I'm pretty sure it will make
the "best seller" list this next year, so keep your
eyes open for it.

If any of our classmates ever come to Utah for a
vacation, or whatever, look us up. We are in the Provo
phone book, if you forget our address. We would love
to see you. May God bless you all.

What's New?: Graduated from San Jose State College--BS Degree
Married in 1957 Wife's name is Betty. We have five
children, four boys and one girl. 10, almost 11,
grandchildren.
Graduated from University of Denver--MS Degree
Retired from the Air Force in 1977.
Retired from STRS (State Teachers Retirement System)
in 1999.
Presently teaching math and science in a private
Catholic School.

What's New?: Since retiring from the U of Lethbridge, I have
gotten the most satisfaction from assisting Bible
translators as a linguistic consultant. (My specialty
is grammar analysis; i.e. discovering the
grammatical rules of a previously undescribed
language.)

I recently finished translating the script of, and overseeing recording
of voices for, the two hour video "Jesus". It is now available in the
Blackfoot language. Also, this year I am again teaching courses in the
structure of the Blackfoot and Cree languages at the University of
Lethbridge.

I also spend lots of time training for and competing
in triathlons. I completed Ironman Canada at the
end of Aug. '04 at the age of 70.

2008: I am still teaching at UofL in the spring semesters. Right now
(early Nov.) I am in NM doing research on the So. Tiwa language, and
training for the Arizona Ironman triathlon (Tempe, AZ 23 Nov.).

What's New?: After graduation,I served 4 years in the Navy during
the Korean War. And 4 years reserve. Also I was a
plumber for 30 years. After retiring I then went to
work for nun's in Los Gates {called presentation
retreat}!! I was there maintenance engineer for 12yrs
before moving to Arizona!!! I have two sons and five
Grand children !! God Bless to all my Alumni!!!!

What's New?: I have four children (Tom Blalock) and five
grandchildren. I retired from Wells Fargo Bank as asst.
vice president in 1995. I married Dick Hoon in 1995
and we are now both retired and enjoing the best years
of our lives!

What's New?: Remarried 6 months ago to a gal I met in our church.
Retired from NWA ten years ago. Moved to White Bear
2/03. Just sold my over-the-road trucking business.
Currently building a home about an hour west of Orland,
FL. Still actively involved in mission related flying
in Africa, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and it looks like
we'll be operating in Jordan shortly. (AirServ
International)
Looking forward to the next reunion! Sorry I didn't
get to chat with Herb S. at the big 50th.
