- What's New?
- In 1962 I started teaching at Cupertino High School and
in June of 2003 I retired. I had great fun in my U.S.
History classes whenever we got to the 1950s telling
stories about my days at Mt. View High. I married
Diane in 1966 and our immediate family tree now
includes a son, a daughter, their spouses,two
grandchildren and a 3rd third due in December of 2004.
I enjoy giving guided tours of the SF Giants SBC Park
but my main focus presently is helping start up an
alumni association for all the graduating classes of
Cupertino High School.

- What's New?
- After graduating MVHS, I attended the University of
Colorado; married and moved to Spokane, WN; had two
wonderful children - boy and girl; moved to Montana
in 1971 after being hired by the Montana Department
of Institutions/Human Services/Corrections; divorced.
Twenty years ago, I married a third generation
Montanan, Garry Wunderwald. Garry has two terrific
married son's and between us, our family includes 7
grandchildren with yours truly proudly admitting to
having two great grands! I worked for the Montana
Dept. of Corrections until retirement in 1998, but
continued with the agency on contract through 2002.
Garry is semi-retired from his film location/manager
business. Montana is truly the last best place and
I'm a very contented transplant.

- What's New?
- Let me lead off by announcing to all "I have
Survived".
All the twists and turns of life have left me very
amused and much wiser than I was in 1954.
I am now single with four children and ten
grandchildren. (Not living with me. Thank God) They
range from fifteen down to four. I
must admit the four year old is doing a very good job
of it. I'm retired after many years in various aspects
of the automotive field. I have a nice home in
Sacramento and live very well. I love to travel and I
teach at every chance.
I would like to hear from you sooooooo If you have
a little time drop me a line..

- What's New?
- FRANCINE WILKERSON
I realize that the name above is foreign to MVUHS 1954
graduates. Perhaps the name Frankie Ramirez might
assist-although I doubt it. I tried to make friends at
MVUHS but my "hang-ups" made it impossible. To put it
delicately, most of you considered me "uncommon".
From the summer of 1954 through July 1975 my life was
at best, passable.
After years of psychotherapy I finally came to grips
with the fact that I had been living with the enigma
of gender discord. Shortly thereafter I opted for the
required surgical procedure in order to promulgate the
transition process. My therapist insisted that I
reenter the world. I took the risk of reentry and
never regretted it. No longer did gender congruity
issues haunt me. I obtained my BA in Cultural
Variances/Transition Clarification from UOP
(University of Phoenix) in 1989. In 1992 I met Mr.
Wonderful. We currently live on a lavish estate in
Central California. I look forward to the forthcoming
reunion (my first). I am eager to confront those who
tormented me during my wretched four years at MVUHS.

- Since graduation, I married Eddie Perez and in August
will be married for 49 years. We have three
sons and now have 3 daughter in laws and 7
grandchildren. I worked as a bookkeeper for 31 years
and am now retired. Enjoying my husband and

- What's New?
- Byron and I got engaged on my graduation day. He was
in the Marines and was promptly sent over seas. I was
to go to New York to school but changed my mind at the
last minute...don't think my Father ever forgave me.
Instead I went to night school to learn accounting and
worked days at Bank of America as a book keeper.
Byron and I got married when he returned from
Japan...Feb. 11, 1956. We moved to Camp Pendleton to
start our lives together. At this point we had
already been dating since I was 14. (they tried to
tell us we were too young....we just celebrated 48
years of marriage this Feb). Byron went on to college
and I became a Mother....2 sons and one adorable red
headed daughter, and homemaker for the next 17 years.
We had moved to Alaska in 1967....a life long dream of
Byron's. I knew this going into the marriage...we
came and have loved living here ever since. In 1973
I got a Real Estate License and was turned lose on the
public. In 1979 I got my Brokers license and contined
to sell for a total of 25 years. Byron opened his own
commercial construction company in 1986 and is still
running it. I retired in 1999 and am now busier than
ever. Our daughter is our only married child and has
given us 5 wonderful grandchildren ( I tell my Sons
that they are out of the will)...her family lives in
Santa Barbara so I fly over a lot of you a couple
times a year. To end this I must say that I am very
happy and content with my life and feel so blessed to
still have health and happiness.
