Updated 31-Jan-2010. I retired in 2005 after 44 years with the Cupertino Union School District. My husband, Paul, and I enjoy traveling, golfing, and spending time with our two sons and their wives and our 4 grandchildren. I hope many of our 1957 classmates will attend our 50th reunion, October 6, 2007, at Michael's-Shoreline. Please contact me for details.

Updated 13-Jan-2009. Moved to Colorado from Mtn.View in 1998 with family. Still married to Frank Robertson, going on 50 years come Sep. 6th. 2009. Her son Greg is writing this on her behalf. Just thought people who knew Grace would like to know that she is doing well, and still going strong. She can no longer talk or communicate with anyone though. She is confined to the house, her rocking chair, and bed. Things have really gone down hill over the past several years, and she can no longer do things for herself. My father has been a real saint to stay with her all these years, and do all he does for her. Grace's heart is still strong, and she is still as stubborn as ever. Got that from her father. If anyone who knew my mother would like to inquire more about her, please feel free to contact us through e-mail, via her son Greg. Thank you for your support.

Updated 29-Sep-2007. After getting an MA in journalism at the University of Oregon, I had a career as an editor, writer and public relations executive. I retired from full-time work a few years ago and now serve as executive director of Interfaith Impact of NYS, a statewide coalition of congregations and individuals from Protestant, Reform Jewish, Unitarian Universalist and other faith traditions. We advocate from progressive and liberal religious points of view for compassion, reason and justice in New York State public policies. (See www.interfaithimpactnys.org for more info.)

Updated 8-Aug-2006. Since that wonderful graduation ceremony in the once-famous Mountain View Union High School's Football Field in 1957, I "fooled around" a bit (i.e., not serious about my future), finally enlisted in the US Army and received training in Radio-Teletype communicaions. Spent two years in Augsburg, Germany and finished up my enlistment at Fort MacArthur in San Pedro, CA. After a bit of loafing I went to Foothill JC and studied photography. After working for a few years in photography and graphic arts, I decided to return to school and received an AA in Psychology from DeAnza College and a BA in Psychology from San Francisco State University. By this time it was 1976 and the Personal Computer revolution was underway. Having had the (fortunate) interest in electronics and computer programming whilst at SFSU, I went to work (for various contractors) at NASA at Moffett Field. Stayed in computer programming until 2002 whereon I retired from the field. (Interestingly, I met Leon Wyatt, clarinetist - a fellow graduate while I was in the Army. I hope he is doing well.) Message to your children: DO NOT LET ANY TIME SLIP BY UNNECESSARILY. CONTINUE YOUR EDUCATION, STUDY HARD (but have some fun while you're at it) AND LOOK TO YOUR FUTURE WITH A VERY CAREFUL EYE. SEEK COUNSELING AND GUIDANCE AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY. FINALLY, DO NOT FOLLOW THE HAPHAZARD PATH I TOOK AFTER GRADUATING FROM HIGH SCHOOL! All the best to every graduate; especially those of 1957 - and to everyone who had the unique oppotunity to attend one of the best High Schools in the Santa Clara Valley! Go Eagles! I miss you all! May your God be with you. vdb
