- Bill (LAHS. '63)and I have been married since 1969 and
still reside in Castro Valley. Our 33 year old son is
an unmarried San Jose Firefighter-Paramedic. I am now
retired after working 38 years as a Speech-Language
Pathologist. Bill works for Hornblower Cruises. For
fun I quilt and garden and just hope for
grandkids while I am still young enough to push a
stroller.

- Married Dianna Dawson in 1965. Had 2 children, Elaine
(1966) and David (1968). Elaine is a doctor of
psychology practicing in Reno, NV. She is married and
has a daughter born in 2003. David passed away
in 1977.
We have 3 beautiful adopted children, Melissa,
Matthew, and Michael. Our foster daughter
Christy has lived with us for over 30 years. Our
adopted children and Christy all have Down syndrome.
We moved to Idaho in 1970. I have worked for the JR
Simplot Co. for 34 years and currently as Director of
Labor and Employee Relations.

- WOW...... I can't believe it has been 40 years since
graduation. It seams like only yesterday, where did
the time go....
Let me see.... I have three wonderful daughters, and
three fantastic grandchildren, two girls and one boy.
With another grandchild due July 10, of this year. I
recently remarried and aquired two sons and two more
grandaughters.
I have worked many jobs from waiting tables to being a
department manager to owning my own bussiness in South
Dakota.
My husband Herb and I are retired and are currently in
Iowa to help out with one of the granddaughters.
We plan to start traveling in the summer of 04,
searching for a place we wish to settle in our old
age. But that won't be for many years to come. Grin
Our list of places to go and things to do is still
very long and we plan to do every single one of them.

- I have three kids, 2 girls, 1 boy. Michele, oldest is
married with two sons. Lisa, second got her BS in
Molecular biology from SJSU...graduated December 1999.
She's married with a daughter. Son, Jason, from Chico
in Decebmer2006 with a BS in Computer Science.
I got my first AA 1966, took a 30 year hiatus to raise
a family, then went back and got a second AA in 1995
and my BS from SJSU in 1998! Got divorced just before
graduation, and moved to No.CA. Now working in the
accounting department of a large timber company. I have
a 32 mile commute to work through Redwood Forests!!!

- Hello there classmates;
I have been married to Paul G. Colligan since
1968. We have two grown sons; Paul Wm (35) and Mark
(33) and four grandchildren.
Paul and I spent 22 years living in Germany; in
Bavaria and Baden Wurtemberg. Paul taught
the children of our military over there and I did many
jobs connected with children from pre-school through
subbing and teaching in a Christian school for two
years.
We are located in Redding, CA, and keep busy with
theater, subbing, church and friends. Paul and I came
back from Germany in 1999, and have been here in the
hot city since then. Come and visit us as you go up
Interstate 5 to OR,WA, or beyond.

- Married to Al (Class of 61). After high school I
worked for 2 1/2 years at GTE in Mtn. View. Retired
for 19 years and raised our 2 children. I returned to
GTE, which is now General Dynamics. Retired again -
not by choice - December 2007. Gary (son)& Gloria
have given us 3 delightful grand-daughters. Kaeli-12,
Emily-10 & Ally-7. Renee (daughter)& David have given
us 2 more wonderful grandkids, Thomas 4 years and
Samantha 3 and 2 cute but very spoiled dogs. Al
is retired and enjoys remodeling the house, working in
the yard, his hot rod, helping the neighborhood ladies
and planting a garden with Tom Correia. Last year they
picked lots of tomatoes. This year is looking like
the same thing.
I have been on the MVUHS "Eagle"Alumni Day
Annual Picnic committee for the past 15 years. The
1st Saturday of October every year we have a reunion
at Cuesta Park for all MVHS & Awalt alumni. Stop by
and see some of your old friends. It's fun. Our 40
year class reunion was lots of fun. We still haven't
gotten around to sending out the books to the people
that didn't make it. We will, please be patient.

- Eventually graduated from MVHS. Beat the Draft!!
by joining the US Army, had a great time. Got to be in
the Infantry, Combat Engineers, Artillery, be a Drill
Instructor, and a Helicopter Pilot and never did get
to Vietnam, darn it.
Got married, have a son, Jim 3, MVHS 1989, got
divorced.
Had a Automotive Repair business, 1970-1978, some more
schooling, have been a Counselor, Consultant, Home
Repair and General Contractor 1980 - to present.
Remarried First Wife, and so far so good.
Quit smoking 2 years, 2 months, 16 days,10 hours, 27
minutes and 14 seconds ago ... Life is pretty good.
Zipping around the neighborhood now with the new
Trikke 8.

- WHERE DID THE PAST 40 PLUS YEARS GO. MARRIED AND
DIVORCED. MARRIED AND WIDOWED. LIVED IN UTAH, BACK TO
CALIFORNIA. MARRIED AND LIVED IN COLORADO BACK TO
CALIFORNIA, WINDOWED AGAIN... I WORKED IN THE RV
INDUSTRY FOR 30 PLUS YEARS AND HAVE RECENTLY RETIRED.
NOW MY DOG (SOPHIE) AND I ENJOY LONG WALKS, SLEEPING
LATE AND JUST HANGING OUT NOT HAVING ANY PLACE TO BE.

- Hal and I moved to Modesto in 2001 and live in "The
New Old Modesto." The cost of housing in the Bay
Area was outrageous so we moved 90 miles east and
bought a house at 1/4 the price of what it would cost
in Mountain View! Who knew - we now live in an area
that is "one of the better places to live in
Modesto!" I guess it beats the "east side of the RR
tracks."
We have a total of 5 grandchildren, the eldest is 13
and the youngest is 2.
And to quote Garth Brooks - "I'm much too young to be
this damn old!"

- Married to Gina Fitz (LAHS '64) - 1966.
We have two married grown children, with
3 lovely grandchildren. Our oldest lives in
Paradise CA, with her husband and two of the
grand kids. Our youngest moved to
Georgia with in lovely wife and our
newest granddaughter.
We moved to Lahaina about five years ago
from Santa Cruz. We had lived in Santa Cruz
all of our adult lives and with the kids not in
the area, what the heck, we needed a change.
Life has been good to us.
I currently hold a Senior Human Resources
Professional Certification (SPHR) and at this
ripe old age, and now have a MBA.
I have two consulting business: HR for Small Business
Hawaii, I help make many Hawaiian Small Businesses
better and Blue Sky Careers helping out professional
level skilled job seekers with a business plan to get
that next great job. You never know where things
will lead in the Consulting Buz. Last year, I found
myself doing a consulting gig to what started off as
an employee. Did not take us, the employer, and me
to realize, they did not need a full time person for
their restaurants.
I still have time to help other HR practitioners, by
reviewing their resumes for free, and am still the
Moderator for the Forum on jobshawaii.com as “Ask Bro
Kini”
Right now I am writing several business plans for
several web TV channels, and you may see them soon

Berkeley.
I spent 4 years in USAF, including one year in Viet
Nam. I graduated SJS '72 (BA Math), Univ
of Santa Clara in '79.(MBA)
I have been in the quality profession for 25 years and
currently Director of Quality at a small electronics
co. in San Jose. I enjoy being a grandpa,
photography, golf, computers, and shooting. My wife

- Served in the Army for two years in Germany returned
to the states in 1965. Married Kathie Ramirez in 1967
and we now have three grown children, two daughters
and a son. Worked for the postal service for nine
years and became a full time church pastor in 1980.
Completed my upper education by recieving my masters
degree in Theology in 1997 from Azusa Pacific
Theological Seminary. Have been married to Kathie for
36 years and have no grandchildren as yet! I have been
the Senior Pastor for the House of Praise Fellowship
in La Verne, Califorinia for the past twenty three
years. I would very much like to contact Manuel Otero

- I retired from NASA Ames Research Center in
1996 and moved to Houston TX, were I worked as
general Manager of a Machine Shop for 2 years.
While I was planning my return to San Jose I was
offered a job at NASA Johnson Space Center doing
virtually the same thing I was doing when I worked
at Ames.
Lori and I have been married for 36 years. We
have 2 daughters, 6 grandchildren and 1 dog. We
live in small town in Texas, Seabrook on the Gulf
coast .

- Isn't it strange how "middle age" just keeps getting
pushed further and further ahead of us? (I think that
I've been middle aged for over 20 years.) After
graduation, I married Harv Lyngar and we had two
children, Jim-36 and Devera-33. We divorced in 1978 and
I married Bob Gerbo (Sunnyvale High,1961) in 1983.
After retiring three years ago, we moved to Mendocino
and we are truly enjoying living on the coast. Jim is
a single parent of a daughter and a son (Riley-10 and
Anthony-7) - they live in Boise. Devera is married and
they have two little girls (Emma-19 months and Kate-5
months) - they live in Kalispell, Montana. Bob and I
have always loved to travel but it now seems that Idaho
and Montana top our list of destinations. We recently
bought a condo on Whitefish Lake (only about 20 miles
from Kalispell) and hope to spend time boating this
year. We have a small vacation rental cottage that
keeps us busy (at least during the tourist season) and
lots of gardens to tend. Any of you headed in this
driection, please let me know - I'd love to visit.

- I have been married to Lucinda Housley(MVHS 69)since
69. We have 2 boys Derek 33 and Lonnie 29. We have 2
grandchildren Lauryn 10 and Kye 7. We moved to
Arkansas in '78. I graduated with a BA in Rehab.
Science in '98. We moved to Milpitas,CA.in '99 to
take care of my mother and ended up staying until
10/02. I worked for Cisco Systems while I was
there.
Back in Arkansas now.
This has been a wonderful place for my children to
grow up. I am retired and Cindy works as a private
duty nurse. We bought some acreage near Derek about
20 miles north,hope to move there soon. This is a
great place to live if you like the outdoors
(hunting,fishing and camping) we do all of it.

daughter from a previous marriage and Tom has two
sons. Between them we now have 7 grandkids. We both
retired but went back to work part-time at fun jobs.
Tom gets to drive fancy cars and I work at my
grandkids school.

- Married to Tom Chambliss (MVHS 1961) since 1964. Our
son Jeff (MVHS 1987) was married in June 1998 and we
are now grandparents of two, Cade and Kayla. This is
wonderful of course, but they have moved to New
Mexico. They love the southwest. Go figure. Daughter
Jennifer (MVHS 1994) is engaged to be married on
September 24 2005 and is living in Colorado. I am
happily retired and greatly enjoy my time to garden,
hike, read, and volunteer, along with those trips to
New Mexico and Colorado.

- Retired after 35 years in the bar business (San
Francisco) Married Carolyn Packer. I have 2 sons and
4 grandchildren. Since retiring in 2002 we have been
living on the island of Molokai. In the last year we
purchased a home just outside of Austin, Texas (Cedar
Creek) to be closer to my family. My brother Mike
(class of 57') and his family are all here so it's
been nice. We have been going back and forth between
Texas and Molokai and loving it!

and Tiffany. Grandmother of 3, 2 granddaughers Jackey
and Jessica and one grandson, Tyler. In 1980 My family
and I moved back to Washington. I work for Boeing.
