Updated 9-Aug-2007. After a series of geographical cures, I settled in Norman, Oklahoma and have been in the area since 1975. Although we have virtually no mountains or bodies of water that seem to go forever, I've grown to love this place, people, pace and culture. It's a university town of 100,000, so there's always something happening, if I can tear myself away from house and yard projects. Work, as a social worker in the only state-run psychiatric hospital, is fascinating and sometimes frustrating. My children are "grown". Daughter Leida (30) lives in Portland and is newly pregnant! Son Bryce (20) is right now in San Francisco, but mostly lives with his father, some 20 miles outside of Norman. Foundling dog, Rudy, has ended up an 88# horse of a dog, who loves to walk and float on an air mattress. My plan is to retire once Medicare kicks in and then, who knows. . . For right now, life is good and am eager to hear how everyone else's life has unfolded.

Updated 14-Jul-2007. Enjoying life up here in Glen Ellen, about 60 miles north east of San Francisco among the grape vines. Living on a Disability Pension from the Veterans Administration, enjoyed an all expense paid holiday in South East Asia in the '60's after Awalt Graduation, as well as a Social Security Disability Pension....with the Disabilities I am unable to work since 1996, after 20 + years as a professional Accountant and the last 5 years as a Controller for a large Advertising firm out of Marin County. Living my life to the fullest with my 3rd (and final) wife of 9+ years now, have a fine 27 year old son in the world of Music in Los Angeles. Ever enjoy our wine? I don't drink much anymore due to my disabilities (I have diabetes from the Agent Orange used over in Viet Nam during their little conflict...thanks to the DOW Chemical Company as well as some other injuries due to my 2 tours (18 + months of Combat), but still enjoy Northern California's fine "herb"...love to all. Look forward to seeing you in August '07 in Palo Alto.

Updated 1-Nov-2005. I moved to San Jose during my senior year, but think of Mountain View High as my Alma Mater since I was raised in Mountain View and didn't leave until the middle of my Junior year. I have three children, ages 21-35, and am living in the mountains. I am the HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C Education/Outreach Coordinator and Client Services Manager for Amador, Tuolumne and Calaveras counties. I hope everyone is doing well out there!!

Updated 1-May-2005. 5/1/05 I keep myself "busy" playing Tetris on the computer, reading, listening to books on tape, playing solitare and watching "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire" on tv. Hubby and I watch "Everybody Loves Raymond" and call it "The fight show." I've gained a little weight and my clothes are feeling tight. I do some volunteering and occasionally take a walk. In other words, I'm not up much. Life is a bit boring but good. ADVENTURES SINCE '67 I transferred to Tahoe Truckee High School for the last semester of my senior year, but I have always identified with my Awalt graduating class. Fresh out of high school, I attended California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California. I loved it, but I completed only one year. I was an arts and crafts counselor for two summers '68 and '69) and worked at a Girl Scout camp in the San Fernando mountains. In between those summers I traveled to Progreso, Yucatan, Mexico. Upon my return from Mexico, I enrolled at Foothill College, tried U.C. Berkeley for a semester, then returned to Foothill College and FINALLY earned my 2-year AA degree in '71. I held various clerical jobs in Silicon Valley, my favorite one being in the computer center at Stanford University. I moonlighted as an artists model and co- founded the Palo Alto Models Guild. I met my future husband, an artist, in '75, we married in '79 and we moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in '80. Three days after our daughter was born in '85, we moved to Joplin, Missouri. We moved to Michigan in '89 and have lived here ever since. Currently, I have the good fortune to be a homemaker and volunteer (school district, church, and sometimes politics). I switched my artistic creative outlet to writing after marriage so that I could have an identity separate from my husband's. Other hobbies include gardening, cooking, stamp collecting, reading and walking.
