Updated 23-Jun-2008. Gave it my best shot, but after 17 years I've joined the ranks of the divorced. Found my true soul mate in Australia of all places, through a poetry website. Yeah, poetry, imagine that! I'm bound for the land down under in a few weeks to reciprocate her recent visit here. Next step is immigration for her on an engagement visa. Set my sights on becoming a skilled machinist/welder back in school. Got where I wanted to go, but the world changed in the mean time. Could do better in an urban setting, but I moved here so I could raise kids in the country and have a few years to go yet. My business struggles in an area slowly bleeding away what little manufacturing base it once had. Working on a new venture with a childhood friend, motorcycle accessories. Bad time to be starting, but it beats sitting around complaining about things. If'n we make it, could have it worse than to hang out at Daytona Speedweek and write it off! In all likelyhood though after my son graduates, I'll be permanently moving to NSW, Australia, to live in lovely Cootamundra. In some ways it reminds me of parts of the bay area in the 60's. Nice place to live and run out my clock.... Come that day, anyone traveling down under is welcomed to look me up. We'll throw a few snags on the barbie (REAL Australians NEVER throw shrimp on the barbie....) and have a few ice cold VB's. G'day Mates!

Updated 26-Sep-2005. I’m surprised that more people aren’t using this website to contact their old class mates. I now live in San Jose (didn’t move to far away). I grew up in Mountain View but my family moved to Sunnyvale after my Sophomore year so I actually graduated at Fremont High but my friends were still in Mountain View. Do you remember me? Hope to see you at the Reunion October 1st 2005 @ Michael's @ Shoreline

Updated 7-May-2005. I left Mtn. View shortly after graduation in '75. I didn't go to far, just 4 hrs northeast to a town called Paradise. I still live with my Mom and Dad when I'm home. After graduation I served in the Military for 2 years. After that a friend of mine talked me into going to a truck driving school in Eugene, OR. I've been driving a semi truck ever since. I met my husband John 15 years ago. We were married 8 years ago and ran as a team hauling explosives for the Military across this country and Canada. We are retiring from driving a truck after 40 years (total between the two of us). We are planning on buying a home around Joplin, Missouri and buying a trucking company. We will still be working for our Government and Military. I would love to hear from some of you if you remember me. I didn't know there was a reunion, but I am going to try and make it to alumni gathering in October. I never knew there was one every year. This site is great and I hope to hear from anyone who remembers me.
