I taught in grades 1- 3 for 13 years in the Mountain View School District before quitting in 2000 to stay home with my children. In 2003 we left the Bay Area and moved to beautiful El Dorado Hills about 25 minutes outside Sacramento, on the way to South Lake Tahoe. My daughter Krista became heavily involved in theater shortly after our arrival here and I started volunteering with her theater company. After spending the last 4 years as a "stage mom" I am now working as a producer for El Dorado Musical Theatre, a youth theater company founded in 2001 by the late John Healy, the original founder of San Jose Children's Musical Theatre.
