I married Brian Mackin (St. Francis-83) in 1989 and we have
two children, Krista (93) and Kevin (95). I taught in grades 1-
3 for 13 years in the Mountain View School District before
quitting in 2000 to stay home with my children. In 2003 we left the
Bay Area and moved to beautiful El Dorado Hills about 25 minutes
outside Sacramento, on the way to South Lake Tahoe.
My daughter Krista became heavily involved in theater shortly after
our arrival here and I started volunteering with her theater company.
After spending the last 4 years as a "stage mom" I am now working as
a producer for El Dorado Musical Theatre, a youth theater company
founded in 2001 by the late John Healy, the original founder of San
Jose Children's Musical Theatre. If you are ever up in our area...come

My son Kevin loves sports, especially baseball, and Brian loves to
coach, so when I'm not "backstage", we're at one of his games cheering
him on. Brian works from home for Sun Microsystems which gives us
the opportunity to be really involved with our kids and their activities.
It's been great hearing from some of you with the creation of this
website. Good to hear so many are happy and healthy. Take care.
