What's New?
I'm a happy camper, despite having my husband die from
long-term complications from his final brain
cybersurgery last year at Stanford. Widowhood is weird
at 48, but my faith in the Lord gives me great hope and
peace. Besides all that, I am still teaching voice at
home, and now puruing a Master's/Teaching Credential in
Special Education so that I "will never be out of a
job." I already have a music credential, but the state
of the nation and state of the state leave many music
teachers in the dust. I have one son (23)on a mission
in Virginia for our church (LDS), another (21)recently
returned from a Spanish speaking mission in New Jersey,
of all places (!) and back to college (fluent in
Spanish :~) ) and a third son (16) a sophomore at
Alameda High making all the music that he can! Another
big change is having my dear mother living with us,
since she can't be left alone anymore. I hope to hear
from some of you from the great, yet dwindling, class
of 1973! Class of '73 mutineers/graduates of '72 - drop
me a line! Sure wish I could have made it to the picnic.
