Married to Al (Class of 61). After high school I
worked for 2 1/2 years at GTE in Mtn. View. Retired
for 19 years and raised our 2 children. I returned to
GTE, which is now General Dynamics. Retired again -
not by choice - December 2007. Gary (son)& Gloria
have given us 3 delightful grand-daughters. Kaeli-13,
Emily-12 & Ally-9. Renee (daughter)& David have given
us 2 more wonderful grandkids, Thomas 6 years and
Samantha 5. Al is retired and enjoys remodeling the
house, working in the yard, his hot rod, helping the
neighborhood ladies and planting a garden with Tom
Correia. Last year they picked lots of tomatoes. This
year is looking like the same thing.
I have been on the MVUHS "Eagle"Alumni Day
Annual Picnic committee for the past 17 years. The
1st Saturday of October every year we have a reunion
at Cuesta Park for all MVHS (old & new) & Awalt
alumni. Stop by and see some of your old friends. It's
fun. Our 45 year class reunion was lots of fun.
