After graduating I worked full-time for the Stanford Center on Adolescence as an administrator until 2002. I also worked for Challenge Success, a Stanford project working to define student success as more than just good grades. I have 2 children. Our son Tristan was born in January, 2002, and our daughter Allison was born in September, 2004. I'm happily doing the stay-at-home mom thing: volunteering at the kids' school, PTA, Scouting, sports, and all the rest. Husband, Mike, owns a trucking company. We settled in the south bay about five years ago and have a 6 year old boy (Wyatt) and 3 month old girl (Ella). I was an independent environmenatal consultant for about 10years specializing in wetland delineation, permitting, rare plant surveys and biological resources analysis. I work for HNTB Engineering, located out of Oakland Basically lots of writing and I get to work from home. My hobby has been consistent with my horses dominating my free time. I ride dressage and compete at the state level. My three horses live at home with us so they are basically my other children. I didn't go to far, just 4 hrs northeast to a town called Paradise. I still live with my Mom and Dad when I'm home. After graduation I served in the Military for 2 years. After that a friend of mine talked me into going to a truck driving school in Eugene, OR. I've been driving a semi truck ever since. I met my husband John 15 years ago. We were married 13 years ago and ran as a team hauling explosives for the Military across this country and Canada. We have retired from driving a truck after 40 years (total between the two of us). We are currenty in Paradise with my parents as they are in their 90's and 80's and not in very good health. I would love to hear from some of you if you remember me. I am going to try and make it to alumni gathering in October. I never knew there was one every year.
